I didn’t realize how hard I was squeezing the handle regardless of the shot I was hitting. Once I started training with the Pickleball Lite Grip Pro, I quickly understood what it meant to use a lite grip and my dinks and 3rd drop shots have drastically improved.
Not only has the PB Lite Grip Pro improved my dinking and 3rd shot drops by helping me understand how Lite my grip pressure can be, but my "Pickleball Elbow" pain is now much less painful because I'm not squeezing the paddle so tightly.
I train with the Pickleball Lite Grip Pro about 10 minutes a day just to help develop my muscle memory to remind myself of how lite my grip pressure should be for my soft touch shots. It’s also quick and easy to put on and take off, and the bag it comes in is great for storing the device inside my pickleball bag.
I saw a lady warming up on the court next to me using the Turquoise grip and she explained what it was and how much it has helped her so I asked where I can get one. She took the grip off and I was able to scan the QR code on the inside of the grip, went right to the website and ordered 1 for myself.
I’m a tennis player that has converted to pickleball and using a lite grip is not something I’ve had to worry about too often in tennis, but I’m quickly learning it is very useful in pickleball. The Pickleball Lite Grip Pro is an outstanding training device that restricts being able to squeeze the handle tightly.
The Pickleball Lite Grip Pro has improved my overall game, but the biggest improvement has been my ability to survive in the transition zone. Using a lite grip and being able to reset/drop the ball into the kitchen has allowed me many more opportunities to follow my shot out of the transition zone up to the kitchen. I used to often be stuck and had a hard time getting out of the transition zone, but with a lite grip I’m no longer having as much difficulty.
I not only train with the Pickleball Lite Grip Pro on non-match days when I’m just playing for fun, but I also use it on match days during pre-game warm ups just to remind myself of how lite the grip pressure should be for my 3rd shot drops, transition zone reset drops and dinks.
